Yrkesnorsk Occupational Norwegian

Occupational Norwegian is a Norwegian course that focuses on the language and vocabulary you need in your profession. The goal of occupational Norwegian is to develop the participant’s understanding of trade-specific vocabulary and expressions, improve their spoken and written skills in Norwegian – and gain insight into the working culture of their trade.

Why do a course in Occupational Norwegian?

Courses in Occupational Norwegian will help you understand and make yourself understood in your work environment. What you learn in the course will enable you to communicate more effectively in Norwegian in all situations, so you can practice the language in everyday life.

What are the admission requirements?

There are no admission requirements for the course, but we recommend that you have a language proficiency level of A2 in both written and spoken Norwegian. It’s also advantageous to have experience in the relevant profession for the course.
