The Norwegian course for beginners is for those who want a thorough and practical introduction to the language. The aim is for you to be able to cope quickly in simple everyday situations. Language teaching is communicative. You are encouraged to use the Norwegian language actively in practical situations from everyday life, and get many opportunities to practice and rehearse.

Course content: this course will increase your abilities to:

•       Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and plans

•       Understand the main points in daily spoken as well as written language about familiar topics that you often encounter in a work setting

•       Write simple, coherent texts on topics relating to everyday life

•       Discuss familiar topics and argue your opinions

•       Express yourself so that you can deal with unfamiliar, or even difficult, situations

Test certificate: You will be awarded a course certificate after 75% attendance
